Here is step-by-step how to install Ubuntu using pendrive.
1.Create a folder name USB on your desktop
2.download UBconvert (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/downloads/UBconvert.zip) and extract it in the USB folder that u created.
3.move the ubuntu 8.04 iso into USB folder
4.Click fixu.bat from the USB folder (follow on screen instructions)
5.Move all files from the ubuntu directory to your pendrvie
6.reboot your laptop and make sure the 1st boot device priority is set to USB HDD
if you follow this instruction , your laptop should now boot from your pendrive.
pendrive requirement:
1. at least 2Gb
2. Before follow the instruction above,format your pendrive to FAT32.(right click on your pendrive>format>under file system choose FAT32>format option choose quick format>start).
Set boot device priority:
1.enter bios
2.select boot option
3.select boot device priority and make the USB HDD(for my laptop, others may differ) as the 1st boot device.
